Flair Bartenders and Bartender Flair

Flair bartending made it onto the big screen with the 1988 film Cocktail. All of the Flair Bartending equiptment you will need like practise bottles, mixing tins, training videos, and other flair related products are available online these days. Applause is certainly appreciated, but the extra tips the flare bartenders earn probably mean more to them. They practise at home to prepare for your show, so show them some love.

The purpose is to entertain the customers but still providing great service and a great atmosphere as well as having a bit of fun a long the way. Today, there are world champions and pro flair bartenders living and working all over the world. Today, the market is virtually flooded with different options for good bartenders. Management needs to be educated on the benifits of flair.

You want to start off with the plastic spouts so you dont have any serious injuries while you're learning. The original planning of a worldwide community of performance bartenders was a 1997 collaboration between American Flair Bartenders Alan Mays and Toby Ellis. Practice the movements over and over until it becomes second nature. Throwing garnishes and ice and catching them in the shaker is a move that always delights the onlookers.

While you almost certainly want to be performing many different moves behind the bar, you will use tins spins on a very regular basis. Flair bartending has shown that when done properly, it helps to increase business for the establishment. The Flair Bartenders Association was created in 1997. Service should always come first, before flair, so take care of your customers first and if you can throw in a few move, entertain them.

Before you spend any money, find out what the school has to offer. Bartenders love to make drinks and love to entertain, so get started.
